The Egyptian Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced that all liberal professionals are obliged to register in the electronic invoice system no date later than December 15, 2022, and send their bills in case of dealing with IRS-registered installations on the electronic invoicing system. This policy from the IRS has provoked a significant case of discontent with lawyers; it has prompted most sub-unions to issue statements against the decision to register in the electronic invoice system, warning to organize vigils and escalate the order.

The Structure of the Nigerian Bar Association:
With over 120,000 lawyers on its roll, 125 active branches across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, it is organised into three practise Sections, four Fora, and two Institutes, all supported by one National Secretariat. Its National Secretariat is managed from Abuja. Its organizational Structure comprises a National Executive Committee, a National Officers/ Management Board, Sections, forums, committees, Working Groups and a National Secretariat.
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is constituted by the NBA constitution, 2015 (As Amended) which provides for the management, membership, leadership and sections of the NBA. Within that structure, National Executive Committee (NEC) as at July 2019, approved an Organogram, which applies to the NBA matter stating that the NBA president is the head of the administration (day to day) of the NBA.
