Clinton is a Managing Editor at The People’s Accolade Law Magazine (The PALM), where he oversees The PALM Articles™ —an open-access online platform for publishing articles on diverse legal topics by various authors. His responsibilities include writing, editing, researching, and managing projects that contribute to the growth and quality of The PALM. He has been instrumental in the growth and development of the magazine since becoming an editor in 2020.
Clinton is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, and his legal career is deeply rooted in legal research and writing. During his academic journey, he pursued research-intensive paths, completing dissertations and theses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the University of Nairobi. Professionally, he has honed his skills as a legal researcher, authoring numerous publications and legal briefs that have significantly contributed to legal advocacy efforts in Kenya.
He earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Nairobi in 2018, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law in 2019. He was awarded the University of Nairobi Dean’s Scholarship in 2019, which supported his Master of Laws (LL.M) studies at the same institution. Presently, he is pursuing a PhD at the University of Cape Town, furthering his commitment to advancing socio-legal scholarship and advocacy, with a particular focus on advancing the implementation of socio-economic rights. He is also a Lecturer at the Co-operative University of Kenya. He is an active member of the Right to Food Coalition and FIAN-Kenya, organisations dedicated to advancing food security and human rights.
