Gbe-emi joined The People’s Accolade Law Magazine (The PALM) as an Assistant Editor. Her role involves contributing to the editorial team with her sharp legal insight and writing skills. With a strong foundation in law, Gbe-emi brings both academic and practical experience to the publication, enhancing its content quality.
During her time at the university, Gbe-emi actively participated in inter-chamber and inter-departmental Moot and Mock competitions, showcasing her advocacy and legal research skills. Additionally, she served as a Judge for the Lawsan Jural Court from 2021 to 2022.
Gbe-emi earned her Law degree from Delta State University, Abraka, graduating with a Second Class Upper. She advanced her legal education at the Nigerian Law School, Port Harcourt, where she achieved First Class honours and was called to the Nigerian Bar on March 7, 2024. Following her call to the Bar, she joined Brown Umukoro & Co., a prestigious law firm in Delta State, where she collaborated with Dr. Brown E. Umukoro, a Senior Lecturer at Delta State University and a renowned Legal Writer, assisting in the research and curation of materials for legal publications. Gbe-emi is completing her National Youth Service Corps with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the Port Harcourt Zonal Command. Her rich blend of academic excellence and professional experience makes her an invaluable asset to The PALM’s editorial team.
