Khairat Bashorun

Khairat is an Associate Editor at The People’s Accolade Law Magazine (The PALM). In her undergraduate years, she worked as an “Associate” where she contributed to developing and editing legal content, ensuring their accuracy. Her experiences helped refine her skills in legal writing, editorial management, and content creation, allowing her to take on greater responsibility within the organisation.

Aside from her role at The PALM, Khairat has engaged in various personal scholarly projects, focusing on compliance and governance. She has contributed to writing and research initiatives that deepened her understanding of legal issues and enhanced her expertise in legal communication. These projects further strengthened her editorial skills and reinforced her passion for law and legal analysis.

Khairat holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Lagos State University (LASU), Lagos. Her educational background, combined with her professional experience in compliance and financial crime prevention, has provided her with a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and legal analysis.
