Mary is an Assistant Editor at The People’s Accolade Law Magazine (The PALM), where she contributes to landmark research and different levels of writing and editorials.
She is a prolific author, researcher, and editor with nearly four years of experience in the publishing industry. She was the Chief Editor of the West African Law Students’ Association Maiden Magazine in 2023. She also served on the LAWSAN Editorial Board for the LAWSA National Convention Magazine in 2022. Mary-Jones is prolific in short stories and poems, as well as romanticising Grisham’s legal fiction. Her works have appeared in the Legal Scribes Club Maiden Magazine 2024, FOCUS Magazine 11th Edition 2024, and LAWSAN North East Zone Magazine 2022.
Mary-Jones holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class in 2024. During her college studies, she was involved in extracurricular activities and received various honours and certifications for participation in moot tournaments. She is currently a Graduate Trainee Counsel at the Federal Ministry of Justice in Abuja, where she hones her legal writing, research, and proofreading skills.
