Subomi’s editorial journey with The People’s Accolade Law Magazine (The PALM) began in January 2020, while she was a 200 level law student. She distinguished herself as a dedicated and resourceful team member, playing a pivotal role in collaborating with writers and editors in producing high-quality legal content. Her exceptional performance led to her promotion to Assistant Team Lead, where whe ensured the timely digital publication of articles, coordinated team activities, planned social engagements to build camaraderie, and conducted interviews for The StarLight™ Edition. She is currently Deputy Managing Editor for The StarLight™ where she continues to be an invaluable asset, driving team productivity, fostering a collaborative environment, and shaping the future of the publication with her visionary approach.
Beyond her work at The PALM, Subomi has been involved in various scholarly projects, including editorial, research, and writing experiences. She has conducted legal research and created high-quality legal content. Her roles as a writer, copywriter, and legal assistant have further demonstrated her commitment to mastering the intricacies of the legal field.
Subomi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with Honours from the University of Ibadan, graduating with a Second Class (Upper Division). Her academic achievements are complemented by her extensive certifications and work experience, including roles as a Campus Ambassador Intern for the International Model United Nations (IMUN), Administrative Manager at Touch of God Limited, Legal Intern at Whitewater Attorneys, Olujinmi & Akeredolu, and Afe Babalola & Co., and as a Graduate Trainee at Afe Babalola & Co.
