Sulaimon began his journey with The People’s Accolade Law Magazine (The PALM) in 2020 as an Associate Editor, contributing to the advancement of legal scholarship in West Africa. His dedication to excellence and leadership earned him a position as Deputy Managing Editor, where he currently assists in supervising The PALM editorial processes and upholding the magazine’s commitment to quality.
In addition to his work at The PALM, Sulaimon has engaged in numerous scholarly projects that reflect his breadth of knowledge and passion for impactful research. He has overseen large editorial teams and made substantial contributions to legal discourse while serving as Editor-in-Chief of multiple law journals, including the Ahmadu Bello University Law Review and the Lawrit Student Journal of Law. Furthermore, Sulaimon has presented conference papers locally and internationally, addressing topics ranging from global migration to cybersecurity law.
Sulaimon obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with Upper Division from Lagos State University and a Barrister-at-Law (B.L.) with First Class Honours from the Nigerian Law School. Throughout his academic career, he has received accolades from various state governments and Senior Advocates of Nigeria. He advanced his career as an Associate Counsel at G. Elias & Co., where he specialised in Dispute Resolution, before relocating to Switzerland, where he is currently pursuing an LL.M in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights at the Geneva Academy.
