An LLB (Honours) graduate from the University of Malawi; Tisu, as he is popularly known among his family, friends and colleagues, was a British Chevening Scholar at the world-renowned Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy at the University of Dundee in Scotland, where he graduated with an LLM in Energy Law and Policy with a distinction. The Structure of the Nigerian Bar Association:
With over 120,000 lawyers on its roll, 125 active branches across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, it is organised into three practise Sections, four Fora, and two Institutes, all supported by one National Secretariat. Its National Secretariat is managed from Abuja. Its organizational Structure comprises a National Executive Committee, a National Officers/ Management Board, Sections, forums, committees, Working Groups and a National Secretariat.
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is constituted by the NBA constitution, 2015 (As Amended) which provides for the management, membership, leadership and sections of the NBA. Within that structure, National Executive Committee (NEC) as at July 2019, approved an Organogram, which applies to the NBA matter stating that the NBA president is the head of the administration (day to day) of the NBA.
